Inspector General of Sindh Police Enhances Security for Chinese Residents

The Inspector General of Sindh Police recently led a crucial meeting at the Central Police Office to address security concerns for Chinese residents in the province. This meeting, attended by senior police officials from various regions of Sindh via video link, focused on strategies to ensure the safety of Chinese nationals.

During the session, the Inspector General outlined key police tactics and rules designed to bolster the security of Chinese citizens. Emphasizing the significance of utilizing body-worn cameras and CCTV surveillance, he stressed the need for effective monitoring of their well-being.

It was noted that the Prime Minister's office had issued stringent directives regarding the security of Chinese residents, mandating the use of bulletproof vehicles for all their movements within the province and its districts.

To guarantee comprehensive security, the Inspector General mandated the establishment of a committee comprising essential police officials. This committee will collaborate to ensure the safety of Chinese nationals, with local police and the Special Branch playing pivotal roles in this mission.

Special focus was placed on the security of Chinese hosts during their visits to specific areas of Karachi. Plans to implement robust security measures to safeguard their movements were also unveiled during the meeting.

The discussions held by Sindh Police officials underscore the commitment to enhancing security measures for Chinese residents in the province. By implementing proactive strategies and leveraging technological tools, the authorities aim to create a safer environment for Chinese nationals, reflecting the importance of international relations and ensuring the well-being of all residents.
