JUI-F implements traffic diversion plan for Karachi rally

Ahead of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl’s (JUI-F) public rally in Karachi, a comprehensive traffic diversion plan has been put in place to prevent congestion on the city's roads. The rally, organized by the Maulana Fazlur Rehman-led party, is scheduled to take place near the Peoples Chowrangi close to the Mazar-e-Quaid at 4pm today.

To facilitate participants, designated parking areas have been arranged at the Excise Chowrangi, Bagh-e-Jinnah, and Mazar-e-Quaid (VIP) Gate. In order to maintain smooth traffic flow around the rally venue, the city's traffic department has closed Numaish Chowrangi for general traffic, offering alternative routes for public use.

Residents are advised that access from Jamshed Road and Teen Hatti to Numaish is restricted, with the suggested alternative route being Tariq Road. Traffic from Shahrah-e-Quaideen will be diverted at the Noorani signal towards Khalid bin Waleed Road. Similarly, vehicles from University Road will be redirected from Jail Chowrangi to Shaheed-e-Millat Road.

Heavy vehicles coming from various areas will have specific routes to follow, with restrictions in place to ensure smooth traffic flow. Participants arriving from different districts are advised on parking locations near the rally venue to minimize disruptions.

The traffic police and law enforcement agencies have urged the public to cooperate for the successful execution of the rally and to ensure minimal disruptions to daily commuting.

The implementation of this traffic diversion plan aims to mitigate congestion and ensure the safety and efficiency of the JUI-F public rally in Karachi. By following the designated routes and parking instructions, both participants and residents can contribute to a well-organized event while minimizing inconvenience to the general public.
