Pakistan and China, long-standing friends with a relationship considered exemplary worldwide, continue to deepen their ties through cultural exchanges and economic cooperation. Provincial Health Minister KP, Syed Qasim Ali Shah, highlighted the strong bond between the two countries during his visit to China Window, a Chinese cultural center in Peshawar.

Minister Shah emphasized the foundation of Pakistan-China relations on mutual trust and support during challenging times. He praised the economic and cultural relations between the two nations, citing the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) as a significant project driving Pakistan's economic development. Shah noted that the Rashkai Economic Zone under CPEC will create over two hundred thousand job opportunities and boost exports to Central Asian countries, including Afghanistan.

Addressing security concerns, Minister Shah assured that the provincial government and security agencies are committed to ensuring the safety of all foreigners, including Chinese nationals. He acknowledged the efforts of the founder chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Imran Khan, in fostering stronger ties with China despite attempts by certain groups to sow discord.

China Window, a hub for promoting Pakistan-China friendship, has facilitated cultural exchange and language learning programs, bringing the people of Peshawar and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa closer to their Chinese counterparts. Minister Shah reaffirmed the provincial government's commitment to enhancing communication and cooperation at the public level to further strengthen Pakistan-China relations.
