LDA Seals Buildings in Gulshan-e-Ravi for Non-payment

The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) took strict action on Friday by sealing more than 10 buildings in Gulshan-e-Ravi, Lahore for failing to pay commercialization fees. The sealed properties included a variety of businesses such as a milk shop, estate office, dental clinic, pharmacy, battery shop, tea stall, and general store. LDA officials confirmed that multiple notices had been issued to the owners of these buildings prior to the enforcement action.

Director Town Planning-I Ayesha Mutahir oversaw the operation, which was executed with the assistance of enforcement teams and the Police. LDA Director General Tahir Farooq emphasized the importance of ongoing efforts to combat violations of building and parking regulations, encroachments, and unauthorized commercial activities in Lahore.

This latest crackdown by the LDA serves as a reminder to property owners and businesses in the city to adhere to the established rules and regulations to avoid facing similar consequences in the future.
