The 7th Edition of the Leaders in Islamabad Business Summit brought together global speakers and delegates to discuss collaboration, economic growth, and sustainability in Pakistan.

The 7th Edition of the Leaders in Islamabad Business Summit (LIIBS) recently took place in Islamabad, bringing together over 15 global speakers and 1000+ delegates to explore growth opportunities and foster collaboration for mutual advancement. Hosted jointly by Nutshell Group and Unity Foods Limited, in partnership with OICCI, Faysal Bank Limited, and InfraZamin Pakistan, the event centered around the theme 'Collaborating for Growth'.

Key figures in attendance included Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, Federal Minister for Finance & Revenue, who highlighted the importance of sectors like agriculture and IT exports as drivers of Pakistan's economic growth. The event also saw discussions on revenue collection, inflation control, and relief measures for vulnerable segments of society.

Speakers like Muhamad Azfar Ahsan and Prof. Ahsan Iqbal emphasized the need for collaboration across public, private, and military sectors to steer Pakistan towards self-sufficiency and sustainability. The event also featured insights from leaders like Lt. Gen. Omar Mahmood Hayat (Rtd) and Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on the significance of public-private partnerships and regional cooperation.

Discussions on energy, chaired by Sardar Awais Ahmad Khan Leghari, shed light on the challenges facing Pakistan's power sector and the balance needed between industrial growth and social responsibility. Shaza Fatima Khwaja, Minister of State for IT & Telecom, outlined the government's vision to digitize Pakistan across governance, economy, and society.

Dr. Ishrat Husain stressed the importance of inclusive development for all segments of society, while Lasha Tabidze, Global Chief Digital Officer at VEON, highlighted the urgency of collaboration for long-term national goals.
