The Punjab government, led by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, launches a student motorcycle scheme in Lahore, offering affordable pricing and subsidies for 20,000 bikes, including electric options, to enhance students' mobility and independence.

The Punjab government has launched an initiative to provide motorcycles to students on easy installments in Lahore. This scheme aims to assist students in their transportation needs and promote accessibility.

Under this initiative, students are encouraged to register promptly to avail of the opportunity. The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has officially announced this scheme on their page. Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz has initiated the distribution of 20,000 bikes to students, with 19,000 being petrol bikes and 1,000 electric bikes. The pricing structure includes an upfront payment of Rs20,000 and convenient monthly installments spread over two years. To support this initiative, the Punjab government will provide a subsidy of Rs1 billion.

This program not only aims to facilitate students' transportation needs but also promotes sustainable mobility through the inclusion of electric bikes. By offering affordable payment plans and subsidies, the government is making it easier for students to own a mode of transportation, enhancing their mobility and independence.
