Minister Hussain Advocates Heritage Preservation and Economic Growth

In a bid to equip the youth with essential skills for the global market, Minister Hussain announced the provision of free modern IT courses in Punjab. Additionally, plans were unveiled to establish a premier furniture college in Gujrat to enhance the industry and boost exports. The minister emphasized the collective responsibility of all organizations in contributing to Pakistan's development, envisioning a future where external financial institutions are not relied upon.

Secretary of Industry and Commerce, Ehsan Bhutta, echoed the sentiment that the restoration of historical buildings is a shared responsibility among all departments, not just the Department of Archeology. Bhutta highlighted successful restoration projects like Poonch House, Shadi Lal Building, Rasool University, and upcoming plans for the Textile College Faisalabad building. The event, organized by the Punjab Investment Board, witnessed the participation of various department secretaries, the CEO of Punjab Investment Board, DG Industries, and other dignitaries.

During the event, Minister Hussain and Secretary Bhutta unveiled a book detailing the restoration efforts on historical buildings and visited handicraft stalls, appreciating the craftsmanship on display.
