Minister Tarar Calls for Swift Legal Action

On May 9th, Pakistan faced a dark day in its history as a politically motivated group attempted to undermine the nation's integrity, security, and progress. Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has emphasized that the nation will not forget the individuals responsible for these events. He has called for swift legal action against those involved, stressing the presence of undeniable evidence.

Tarar condemned the desecration of martyrs' monuments and the targeting of state institutions and national landmarks. He urged the youth to remain vigilant against chaos-inducing elements and assured steps would be taken to prevent further disrespect to the memory of martyrs.

During a press conference, Tarar presented videos showing PTI leaders instigating protesters to attack military installations and monuments. A special meeting of the Federal Cabinet, to be addressed by the Prime Minister, with the participation of leaders from various political parties, has been announced. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will also host a special event at the Convention Centre to address the May 9th incidents.
