Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif's Second Saudi Visit Highlights Bilateral Relations

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is set to embark on a significant three-day official visit to Saudi Arabia this week, marking his second visit to the Kingdom since assuming office. His departure is scheduled for April 28, Sunday. During his previous visit earlier this month, Prime Minister Sharif engaged in crucial discussions with Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, focusing on strengthening the longstanding ties between the two nations and exploring opportunities for increased cooperation across various sectors.

Notably, Prime Minister Sharif also undertook the spiritual journey of Umrah and offered prayers inside the revered Ka’aba, receiving the special privilege of entering 'Baitullah'. His upcoming visit will involve further meetings with Saudi officials, including the Crown Prince, to continue discussions on bilateral relations and collaboration.

This visit gains added significance as it precedes an anticipated trip by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to Pakistan. The announcement comes shortly after Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud's recent visit to Pakistan, aimed at deliberating on potential investment ventures.
