Provincial Minister for Education and other officials in Punjab emphasize educational reforms to ensure inclusivity, quality education, and a safe learning environment for all students.

Provincial Minister for Education Rana Sikandar Hayat emphasized the government's commitment to providing equal educational opportunities to all communities in Pakistan. During a visit to Government Pakistan Model High School in Faisalabad, he highlighted the importance of promoting inter-faith harmony and tolerance through education. Minister Hayat acknowledged the shortage of teachers in schools and assured that the government would address this issue promptly.

Under the vision of 'Literate Punjab' led by Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz, efforts are being made to enhance the quality of education and eliminate any interference by mafias in the education system. The government plans to remove encroachments in schools, establish a complaint cell for harassment incidents, and combat the 'booty mafia' to ensure a conducive learning environment for students.

Furthermore, a merit-based test system will be introduced for the appointment of Chief Executive Officers in the education sector. Minister for Minority Affairs Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora highlighted the cultural diversity of Pakistan and the government's commitment to promoting tolerance and brotherhood among different communities.

During their visit, the ministers inspected the facilities at Pakistan Model School and emphasized the importance of character building alongside academic education. They encouraged education officers to monitor schools regularly and address any issues affecting the quality of education. The government welcomed suggestions from PMLN leaders and local parliamentarians for improving the education system, promising to consider and implement them for the betterment of education in the province.

The government's initiatives to enhance educational opportunities and promote inclusivity among diverse communities reflect a positive step towards building a more tolerant and educated society in Punjab.
