The Punjab government, under the leadership of Minister Zeeshan Rafique of Local Government and Community Development, has announced a new initiative to offer services at animal sale points with a 'no profit no loss' approach. Furthermore, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has directed authorities to complete cleaning arrangements well in advance of Eid al-Adha. Chief officers have been given the responsibility of overseeing the implementation of this directive to maintain cleanliness and order at the animal markets. To monitor sanitation efforts effectively, a control room will be established in the office of the Secretary of Local Government.
