Punjab Government Aids Lightning Strike Victims

On 6th May 2024, the Punjab government took a compassionate step by providing financial aid to the family affected by a tragic lightning strike in Bahawalnagar. The incident claimed the lives of a father and his two sons near 105 Six R, prompting Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz to announce assistance for the grieving family.

MPA Ghulam Murtaza, accompanied by Assistant Commissioner Haroonabad, personally delivered a cheque amounting to Rs 3.08 million to the victims' family.
