The Punjab Police Khidmat Marakaz, led by IG Dr. Usman, provides essential digital services to over 1.1 million citizens. Recognized for outstanding efforts in community policing and crime prevention, the Khidmat Marakaz ensures safety and security across the province.

The Punjab Police Khidmat Marakaz, located in Lahore and various districts of the province, is actively providing digital services to the public. Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman revealed that over 1.1 million citizens have availed police services from the Khidmat Marakaz this year. In the recent month alone, more than 240,000 citizens accessed different police services.

According to the Punjab Police Spokesman, a variety of services were utilized by the citizens. These include 57,400 citizens obtaining police character certificates, 123,000 undergoing general police verification, over 3,000 private employees being verified, 15,600 citizens registering tenancy agreements, 1,800 citizens having their vehicles verified, more than 14,000 citizens obtaining medico-legal certificates, over 500 citizens reporting crimes, 6,000 citizens registering lost documents, 9,331 citizens receiving copies of FIRs, and 1 citizen reporting a case of violence against women.

The Spokesman also highlighted that ongoing measures have provided legal and social protection to 9,290 individuals, especially vulnerable groups. The IG Punjab emphasized that the Police Khidmat Marakaz is a pioneering project in community policing, utilizing modern technology to benefit millions of citizens across all districts of the province annually.

Recognizing the efforts of crime-fighting officers and personnel, Inspector General of Punjab Police Dr. Usman Anwar awarded commendation certificates and cash prizes for apprehending notorious criminals, solving blind murders, and combating serious crimes. A special ceremony at the Central Police Office honored police teams from the Bahawalpur region, with commendation certificates and cash prizes presented to outstanding officers and teams for their achievements in crime prevention and case resolution.

The Punjab Police Khidmat Marakaz continues to excel in providing essential services to the public, ensuring safety and security across the province. The dedication and hard work of the police teams, as recognized by the IG Punjab and other officials, reflect a commitment to serving the community with integrity and efficiency.
