The ZARRA App has resolved over 2,000 cases, showing positive trends in child protection efforts.

The ZARRA App, a recent initiative, has made significant progress in handling cases related to missing children and other reported issues. Since its launch, the app has successfully managed a total of 3,639 cases, out of which 2,130 have been resolved, leading to the safe recovery of missing children and the resolution of various concerns. The Director General of the ZARRA Response and Recovery App, Ministry of Human Rights, has emphasized the importance of the app's role in addressing these critical matters. Currently, there are 592 ongoing cases that are receiving continuous attention to ensure swift resolutions.

The Zainab Alert Response and Recovery database has shown a positive trend with a notable decrease in open cases, now standing at 592, marking a 41% reduction from the previous month. This decline reflects significant advancements in resolving cases efficiently. Additionally, among the closed cases, 265 duplicates were identified, streamlining the process further.

An analysis of the age distribution of cases within the Zainab Alert Response and Recovery database reveals insightful data. The majority of cases, accounting for 70.3%, involve children under the age of 5, highlighting the vulnerability of this age group. Following this, the 10-15 age group represents 15.1% of cases, while the 15-18 age group accounts for 8.8% of reported cases. A smaller percentage of cases involve children aged 5-10 (5.8%), with very few cases concerning adults over 18 years old (0.1%). This breakdown underscores the importance of focusing efforts on protecting the most vulnerable segments of the population.
