The 31st Apex Committee meeting in Karachi revealed shocking details of a Madrasa teacher's involvement in the KPO attack. Measures are being taken to address illegal foreigners in educational institutions and combat various criminal activities for public safety.

An investigation into the Karachi Police Office (KPO) attack case presented during the 31st Apex Committee meeting chaired by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah unveiled shocking details. The report disclosed that a Madrasa teacher was identified as one of the terrorists involved in the attack on February 17, 2023, and was killed during the operation. The meeting, attended by various high-ranking officials, highlighted the presence of illegal foreigners in educational institutions, including Madrasas.

The authorities reported that a significant number of illegal foreigners have been repatriated or deported, with measures in place to address the issue of fake/bogus Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs). In response to the directives of President Asif Ali Zardari, the provincial government is initiating a coordinated operation against dacoits, street criminals, land grabbers, and drug mafia to ensure public safety.

Furthermore, the Senior Minister for Excise, Taxation & Narcotics Control announced the arrest of 166 individuals in drug-related cases and the launch of an awareness campaign in educational institutions. The establishment of a fusion center for enhanced coordination among law enforcement agencies in combating narcotics was also proposed.

In conclusion, the Chief Minister emphasized the need for strict action against individuals illegally carrying arms in public places. The Inspector General of Police assured the implementation of these directives across the province, reflecting a firm stance on maintaining law and order.
