Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) plans to challenge a court ruling upholding Imran Khan's imprisonment over a fraudulent marriage, sparking a legal battle with personal and political implications.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced its intention to challenge a recent court ruling that upheld the sentences of its leader, Imran Khan, and his wife, Bushra Bibi, in a legal dispute. The decision came after the Additional Sessions Judge Afzal Majoka denied their request to suspend their seven-year prison terms, which were imposed in February due to their involvement in a fraudulent marriage arrangement.

PTI's Secretary General, Omar Ayub Khan, criticized the court's ruling, calling it 'absolutely ridiculous' and alleging political motives behind the judgment. He stated that PTI will appeal the verdict in the high court to seek justice for Khan and Bushra Bibi.

The case, initiated by allegations from Bushra's ex-husband, Khawar Maneka, has led to Imran Khan's detention at Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi. Despite being cleared in other legal matters and granted bail in separate incidents, Khan remains in custody. The next hearing is scheduled for July 2, where their plea to overturn the conviction will be reviewed.

The legal battle involving Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi continues as PTI vows to challenge the court's decision. The case highlights the complexities of the judicial system and the impact of personal matters on political figures. As the proceedings unfold, the Pakistani public awaits the outcome of the upcoming hearing with anticipation.
