HLB has announced the theme for this year's HLB LaunchPad program as 'Circular Economy Solutions for a More Sustainable Tomorrow,' reflecting the nation's increasing emphasis on circular economy initiatives. The circular economy concept focuses on reducing waste and maximizing resources by reusing, recycling, and regenerating materials and products to lessen environmental impact.

Participants in the program have the opportunity to choose from three challenge statements: 'Enhancing Green Building & Sustainable Infrastructure Solutions,' 'Reimagining How Goods are Produced for SMEs,' and 'Exploring Innovative Solutions in Waste Management.' Kevin Lam, HLB's Group Managing Director and CEO, underlined the bank's dedication to integrating environmental sustainability with economic viability.

HLB has actively supported businesses in embracing eco-friendly practices by offering guidance to sustainability-focused social enterprises like Refiller Mobile and Green Hero through HLB Jumpstart. Additionally, the bank collaborates with SAMENTA to host Sustainability Roundtables, providing SMEs with insights on integrating ESG considerations into their operations.

Alice Goh, HLB's Head of Payments, Partnerships, and Fintech Ecosystems, emphasized the bank's commitment to the circular economy within its sustainability initiatives. HLB LaunchPad presents businesses with the opportunity to receive mentorship from top executives and industry leaders, along with cash prizes and funding prospects for the top three winners.
