Port Qasim in Pakistan experiences a surge in maritime activity with multiple ship arrivals, handling significant cargo volumes and facilitating goods movement domestically and internationally.

Port Qasim, one of the busiest ports in Pakistan, witnessed a flurry of maritime activity in the last 24 hours. A total of seven ships were docked at the port, with cargo operations in full swing.

The ship 'Nicholas' arrived at Pakistan International Bulk Terminal carrying a substantial load of 56,277 tonnes of coal. Additionally, four more ships - Fast, MSC Nilgun, High Trader, and Navigation Vega - anchored at the outer-anchorage of Port Qasim during this period.

During the same timeframe, an edible oil carrier named 'TTC Vishaka' departed from the port, while another vessel named 'Lusail' is scheduled to set sail today. The port handled a significant cargo volume of 103,652 tonnes, including 9,419 tonnes of export cargo stored in 441 containers.

Currently, there are 8 ships at the Outer Anchorage of Port Qasim. Among them, three ships - Fast, Gall, and MSC Nilgun - along with MSC Vilda-X and XT Brightness are slated to load or offload various goods such as cement, palm oil, containers, and chemicals at designated berths on Monday. Furthermore, three container ships - MSC Spring-III, MSC United-VIII, and Sea-span Jakarta - are expected to arrive at Port Qasim on Tuesday, adding to the bustling maritime activities at the port.
