Port Qasim, a bustling port in Pakistan, managed a significant cargo volume with multiple ships handling diverse goods like Palm oil, LPG, Rice, and more, showcasing its vital role in regional trade.

Port Qasim, one of the busiest ports in Pakistan, witnessed a flurry of maritime activities in the past few days. On Wednesday, two ships, G-Bright and Bateleur, docked at Liquid Terminal and Sui Southern Gas Terminal, respectively, carrying Palm oil and LPG. Meanwhile, six more vessels arrived at the outer anchorage of the port, including Alora, V-Due, Express Athens, Maersk Cairo, Ullswater, and Clipper Barolo, loaded with goods like Rice, Corn, Containers, LPG, and Coal.

At present, four ships are stationed at the PQA berths, with no departures scheduled for Thursday. The port managed a total cargo volume of 27,609 tonnes, with imports accounting for 19,993 tonnes and exports for 7,616 tonnes, transported in 451 containers.

Currently, nine ships are waiting at the Outer Anchorage, with Alora, Clipper Barolo, Express Athens, Maersk Cairo, Wan Hai-316, and Southern Anoa gearing up to handle Rice, Coal, Containers, and Chemicals at various terminals. Additionally, MSC Positano, CMA CGM Musset, and Simaisma are expected to arrive on Friday with containers and LNG.

The bustling maritime activities at Port Qasim highlight the crucial role the port plays in facilitating trade and commerce. With a diverse range of goods being imported and exported, the port serves as a vital hub for the region's economy, connecting Pakistan to global markets efficiently.
