Rashakai SEZ Welcomes Uzbekistan Materials for Commercial Production

The Special Economic Zone (SEZ) at Rashakai, a crucial component of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), has reached a significant milestone. Recently, trucks carrying materials from Uzbekistan have arrived at the SEZ, marking the imminent commencement of commercial production. The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Economic Zones Development and Management Company (KPEZDMC) has confirmed the successful transportation of materials from Uzbekistan to the project site. A convoy of fourteen trucks, including 22 wheelers and other vehicles, made the journey through Afghanistan to deliver the materials to M/S Al-Chemist Private Limited within the SEZ. This achievement highlights the progress and potential of the Rashakai SEZ in fostering economic growth and strengthening ties between Pakistan and China.
