The Balochistan government is preparing to swear in a 14-member provincial cabinet, with the ceremony to be presided over by Governor Abdul Wali Kakar. The event was delayed due to Chief Minister Bugti's overseas trip, but there is consensus among allies on the cabinet formation formula.
The Balochistan government is set to swear in a 14-member provincial cabinet on Friday, as announced by spokesperson Shahid Rind. The ceremony, to be presided over by Governor Balochistan Abdul Wali Kakar, will commence at 12 noon. This decision comes after the government's earlier plan to form the cabinet post Eid-ul-Fitr. Rind highlighted that there is a consensus among the allies regarding the cabinet formation formula.
The swearing-in ceremony, initially scheduled a few days ago, was postponed due to Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti's trip abroad for his brother's medical check-up. Notably, while Balochistan is finalizing its cabinet, other provinces and the federal government have already established theirs.
