The Supreme Court, under Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faez Isa, orders the removal of barriers obstructing traffic in Karachi within three days. This decisive action aims to uphold the rule of law and improve accessibility and safety in the city.

The Supreme Court, led by Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faez Isa, has issued a strict order to remove barriers from outside Rangers Headquarters and other public and private buildings in Karachi within three days. This decision came during a hearing at the Karachi Registry regarding encroachment issues in the city.

Chief Justice Isa emphasized that blocking roads is illegal and no hindrances should be created for the free movement of people. He criticized both federal and provincial governments for placing barriers that obstruct the flow of traffic.

The Chief Justice directed that the expenses incurred in removing the barriers should be billed to government officers responsible, with the amount to be recovered from them. Additionally, he instructed the Rangers to clear the barriers outside their headquarters and ensure that all roads under the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation are free from encroachments.

Authorities have been given a deadline to submit a report on the progress of barrier removal as per the court's orders.
