FESCO Task Force Nabs Power Theft Culprits in Sargodha

The Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) task force successfully apprehended five individuals involved in power theft during a recent crackdown in Sargodha. The operation, carried out on Wednesday, targeted various areas within the district, resulting in the capture of the accused perpetrators.

The offenders were found guilty of stealing electricity directly from the main line and tampering with meters to avoid detection. As a consequence of their actions, the culprits were collectively fined Rs 234,254 by the enforcement teams.

Following FESCO's report, legal action was promptly taken, with the police registering cases against the individuals involved in the illicit activities. This decisive response underscores the commitment to combating power theft and ensuring fair distribution of electricity resources within the region.
