The Iranian Consulate in Karachi commemorated Imam Khomeini's death anniversary, honoring Dr. Ebrahim Raisi and expressing solidarity with Gaza. Consul Generals Nourian and Yang Yundong engaged in discussions on Muslim unity, China's development plans, and China-Pakistan relations, highlighting the importance of diplomatic engagements in strengthening international relations.

The Iranian Consulate in Karachi recently marked the 35th death anniversary of Imam Khomeini at Husayniyah Iraniyan Kharadar. The event, attended by dignitaries like Provincial Minister Syed Riaz Hussain Shah and Consul General Hassan Nourian, aimed to honor Dr. Ebrahim Raisi and his associates while expressing solidarity with the oppressed people of Gaza.

Speakers at the event lauded the efforts of Imam Khomeini and Dr. Raisi in addressing the Palestinian issue. Consul General Nourian stressed the significance of Muslim unity in resolving the conflict, citing Imam Khomeini's principles. He also mentioned a letter from Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei supporting American students' activism against oppression in Gaza.

In a separate engagement, Consul General Yang Yundong of China interacted with students from the National Institute of Management of Pakistan to discuss China's development plans and foreign policy. The participants appreciated China's progress and expressed eagerness to learn from China's experiences for Pakistan's development.

Moreover, Yang Yundong met with Senator Sarmad Ali and members of the All-Pakistan Newspaper Society (APNS) to deliberate on China-Pakistan relations and media collaboration. Both sides emphasized the pivotal role of media in fortifying bilateral ties and fostering mutual understanding.

The events in Karachi underscored the importance of diplomatic engagements in strengthening international relations and addressing global issues.
