Islamabad Capital Police Honors Martyrs with Eid Festival

The Islamabad Capital Police recently organized a special Eid festival to pay tribute to the brave martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty. The event took place at the Police Lines Headquarters, where the families of all martyrs of the Islamabad Capital Police were invited to participate.

Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Headquarters Hasan Raza Khan, accompanied by senior police officers and officials, led the Eid-ul-Fitr prayers at the Police Lines Headquarters Masjid. A smart contingent of police personnel presented a guard of honor to the families of the martyrs, who then visited the martyrs' memorial to recite Fatiha.

DIG Hassan highlighted the sacrifices made by 62 officers of the Islamabad Capital Police in the line of duty, emphasizing that the force never forgets the contributions of its martyrs. He stressed the importance of honoring and remembering those who laid down their lives for the peace and security of the nation.

During the festival, senior police officers, including DIG Hassan, distributed gifts among the families of the martyrs as a gesture of appreciation. Additionally, various events were organized at different police stations to celebrate Eid with officers and officials, fostering a sense of camaraderie and unity within the force.
