During Eid-ul-Azha, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa welcomed over 415,000 tourists, with Kaghan and Naran emerging as top destinations. Meticulous data collection ensured an accurate representation of the region's tourist footfall.

During the festive period of Eid-ul-Azha, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa witnessed a significant influx of tourists, with a total of 415,731 individuals exploring the picturesque sites of the region. This number comprised 415,569 domestic tourists and 162 foreign tourists, as reported by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Development Authority.

The tourists had the opportunity to visit a variety of stunning destinations, including Dir Upper, Malam Jabba, Galliyat, Chitral Upper, Chitral Lower, Kaghan, and Naran. Among these, Kaghan and Naran emerged as the most popular spots, attracting approximately 174,720 visitors, followed closely by Galliyat with around 162,872 tourists. Chitral Lower and Malam Jabba in Swat district also saw a considerable number of tourists, with 23,440 and 46,631 visitors respectively.

The data collection process was meticulous, involving inputs from police check posts, levis check posts, Assistant Commissioner offices, and field Assistant Directors of Development authorities. This comprehensive approach ensured an accurate representation of the tourist footfall across the region.

The Eid-ul-Azha period brought a surge of tourism to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, showcasing the natural beauty and cultural richness of the region to visitors from near and far.
