The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Agriculture, Sajjad Barkawal, led a meeting to address the financial losses faced by landowners due to recent rains and floods in the province. The meeting also focused on preventing erosion of agricultural land and minimizing damage to crops caused by the natural disasters. Attendees included Chief Secretary Nadeem Aslam Chaudhry, Additional Chief Secretary Imtiaz Hussain Shah, Secretary Agriculture Javed Marwat, United Nations FAO Country Representative Miss Florence Rolle, and FAO Regional Chief Farrokh Tayrif.

The discussions revolved around the urgent situation in the province following the heavy rains and floods.
