Khyber Pakhtunkhwa authorities gear up to welcome tourists during Eid-ul-Azha, ensuring safety and comfort with special measures and dedicated efforts to enhance tourism infrastructure.

The provincial government and the tourism department in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are actively getting ready to welcome an expected surge of tourists during the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha celebrations in the Malakand and Hazara divisions. Special measures are being put in place to ensure the safety and comfort of visitors in the upper and northern regions of the province.

Chief Minister Sardar Ali Amin Gandapur, along with Advisor Tourism and Culture Zahid Chanzeb and Chief Secretary Nadeem Aslam Chaudhry, have given clear instructions to officials to prioritize the security and travel needs of tourists, even throughout the Eid holidays.

Authorities have issued directives to Commissioners, Regional Police Officers, and Deputy Commissioners to collaborate closely with the Culture and Tourism Authority to make all necessary arrangements. Moreover, heads of various Development Authorities have been assigned the responsibility of keeping tourist facilities operational 24/7 and coordinating traffic management with local police at popular tourist destinations.

In addition, standby heavy machinery will be available for prompt highway clearance, and sanitation facilities such as washrooms and ablution centers will be well-maintained in local markets. To ensure a smooth experience for tourists, employee holidays have been canceled in several districts and busy tourist areas. Tourist facilitation centers will be up and running to offer guidance and support to visitors, ensuring they enjoy a pleasant and hassle-free visit.

The proactive efforts of the provincial government and tourism department in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa demonstrate their commitment to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for tourists during Eid-ul-Azha. By implementing these measures, they aim to enhance the overall tourism infrastructure and promote the region as a welcoming destination for visitors. Travelers can look forward to a well-organized and convenient trip, thanks to the dedicated preparations being made to accommodate the expected influx of tourists.
