Divisional Commissioner Madam Silwat Saeed ensures a secure Eid-ul-Azha in Faisalabad with early opening of cattle markets, strict security measures, and collaboration among police chiefs.

The Divisional Commissioner, Madam Silwat Saeed, has revealed plans to ensure a safe Eid-ul-Azha celebration in Faisalabad and its neighboring districts. Cattle markets and animal sales points will open 10 days before the festival, with stringent security protocols in place.

Madam Silwat Saeed stressed the importance of a comprehensive security strategy during a recent meeting. Police chiefs from Faisalabad, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh, and Chiniot have been directed to collaborate on a detailed security plan. Special attention will be given to protecting Chinese and other foreign nationals involved in development projects. Strict measures will be enforced against activities like kite-flying and power theft, with a zero-tolerance policy in effect.

All cattle markets and animal sales points will operate well in advance of Eid-ul-Azha, focusing on providing robust security for both sellers and buyers of sacrificial animals. Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) have been finalized to secure these markets and will be strictly implemented. The Regional Police Officer, Dr. Muhammad Abid Khan, will oversee the effective execution of these security measures.
