Metropolitan Corporation Lahore conducted a successful anti-encroachment operation in Lahore, removing illegal structures and engaging the community to maintain the city's infrastructure and public spaces.

The Metropolitan Corporation Lahore (MCL) recently carried out a significant anti-encroachment operation in the city to tackle illegal structures and encroachments. Led by the Regulation Wing's anti-encroachment squad, the operation saw the removal of 156 encroachments and the confiscation of goods from various locations. In addition, 26 challans were issued, and warning notices were served to violators.

During the operation, 357 banners and streamers were removed, and selling points of vulture meat for charity purposes were cleared. MCL administrator Rafia Haider emphasized that these efforts align with the directives of the Chief Minister of Punjab. Special squads are actively conducting operations across all nine administrative zones of the city on a daily basis.

Traders' associations have been engaged and encouraged to extend their support to MCL in its anti-encroachment endeavors. Citizens are also urged to collaborate with MCL and its teams to help eradicate encroachments from the city.

The recent anti-encroachment drive by the Metropolitan Corporation Lahore signifies a proactive approach towards maintaining the city's infrastructure and public spaces.
