The Lahore Development Authority conducted a major operation targeting illegal constructions in various areas of the city, emphasizing the importance of adhering to building regulations for urban safety.

The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) recently conducted a major operation in the city to address the issue of illegal constructions. Led by Chief Town Planner Azhar Ali, the operation targeted several areas including Johar Town, Lahore Evenue, Wapda Town, IEP Town, Valencia Town, and UET Society.

During the operation, nine constructions were demolished, and seven properties were sealed. Illegal constructions on various plot numbers in Lahore Evenue and Valencia Town were among those demolished, while properties in UET Society, Wapda Town, Johar Town, and IEP Town were sealed.

Prior notices were given to the properties before the enforcement action was taken, highlighting the LDA's commitment to tackling unauthorized constructions in the city.

The LDA's recent operation underscores the importance of adhering to building regulations and laws to maintain the structural integrity and safety of urban areas.
