A group of 50 students from Nankana Sahib visit Punjab Safe Cities Authority to learn about Virtual Women Police Station operations and innovative measures for enhancing women's safety.

A group of 50 students from various universities in Nankana Sahib recently had the opportunity to visit the Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) as part of the Friends, Volunteers in Police Programme. During their visit, they were given a comprehensive presentation by Shift Commander DSP on the operations of the Virtual Women Police Station.

The students were introduced to the Women's Safety App, which includes features such as the 15 Emergency Call Centre, the 15 Panic Button, and a live chat function. They learned how the Safe City is actively working to address issues faced by women, especially cases of harassment, by leveraging modern technology for swift resolutions.

The delegation members were impressed by the initiatives taken by the Safe City to enhance women's safety. They acknowledged the significant efforts being made to support women through the Virtual Women Police Station.

The visit of the students from Nankana Sahib to the Punjab Safe Cities Authority provided them with valuable insights into the innovative measures being implemented to ensure the safety and well-being of women.
