In a recent press conference in Quetta, Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly, Omar Ayub, made bold claims regarding the future of Pakistani politics. Ayub asserted that the Sharif family is 'afraid' of prisoner number 804, a reference to PTI Chairman Imran Khan. He emphasized that the PTI is dedicated to raising awareness among the masses and is focused on upholding the supremacy of law and constitution in the country.

Ayub confidently stated that his party would take the reins of power once the current governments are dissolved. He highlighted the success of PTI rallies despite facing obstacles, mentioning instances where party workers were allegedly mistreated and prevented from displaying party flags in public gatherings.

Under the banner of a 'grand opposition alliance', Ayub announced plans to launch a protest movement against alleged election rigging and for the restoration of democracy in Pakistan. He stressed the importance of utilizing provincial resources for the welfare of the residents, advocating for a people-centric approach to governance.

The opposition leader's remarks came amidst a rally in Pishin, where the six-party opposition alliance, including PTI, SIC, JI, BNP, MWM, and PkMAP, initiated a nationwide movement against the government. The event witnessed a passionate crowd, with Ayub expressing gratitude for the public support towards the 'Tehreek Tahafuz Ayin' movement.

Furthermore, PPP leader Sharif Khilji made headlines by announcing his decision to switch allegiance to PTI, criticizing his former party's leadership under Zardari's influence. Khilji's move signifies a shifting political landscape as parties realign themselves ahead of potential power transitions in the country.

Omar Ayub's assertions and the evolving political dynamics in Pakistan indicate a period of heightened activity and competition among political factions. The emergence of opposition alliances and defections underscore the fluid nature of Pakistani politics, setting the stage for potential shifts in power dynamics in the near future.
