Pakistan Haj Mission Introduces Affordable Hajj Package

The Director of Pakistan Haj Mission in Madinah, Zia-ur-Rehman, has announced a new cost-effective Hajj package for Pakistani citizens. Priced at 14,300 Saudi Riyals, this package includes meals, making it a more affordable option compared to neighboring India's package, which costs 15,000 Saudi Riyals without meals. The 40-day package ensures a minimum expense of 1,400 Riyals per pilgrim, aiming to make the Hajj pilgrimage accessible and affordable for all Pakistani citizens.

Seven top catering companies out of 29 in Madinah have been selected by the Pakistan Hajj Mission to provide three meals a day to the pilgrims. These companies were chosen through a competitive bidding process to ensure quality food and hygiene standards at a rate of 35 Saudi Riyal per person. The 'Bahaar Haar' catering company is currently preparing food for Pakistani pilgrims, with plans to serve up to 4,000 pilgrims during the peak Hajj season.

To maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene, a stringent approval process has been implemented. Officials closely monitor the entire food preparation process, from storage to distribution, ensuring strict quality control. Various Saudi departments, including Food & Drugs, the Firefighting department, and the Commerce Ministry, conduct regular inspections at the production sites and kitchens of the catering companies to uphold these standards.

Pakistani pilgrims have expressed satisfaction with the food quality and service arrangements made at their hotel accommodations by the staff. This initiative not only provides affordable Hajj packages but also ensures the well-being and comfort of the pilgrims throughout their journey.
