The Pakistan Hajj Mission diligently monitors the Mashair days to ensure pilgrim safety and well-being, coordinating with various agencies to address issues and enhance the Hajj experience.

The Pakistan Hajj Mission has been actively monitoring the Mashair days to ensure the well-being of pilgrims. An official from the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony emphasized the importance of authentic sources for complaints regarding Hajj facilities. While acknowledging that pilgrims did face issues, the official highlighted that the Pakistan Hajj Mission's role primarily involves coordinating with various agencies and service providers to address any inconveniences faced by pilgrims.

During the Mashair days, the Saudi government provides a helpline (1966) for pilgrims to report any lack of proper services. The official mentioned that the Pakistan Hajj Mission's staff work in shifts to assist pilgrims in the crowded Mashair area, where transportation can be slow due to tight regulations aimed at minimizing casualties.

After the Mashair days, complaints from pilgrims will be analyzed to address any issues with the service providers and the Saudi government. The official noted that complaints are common among pilgrims from various countries, not just Pakistan. Despite challenges such as extreme heat, efforts are made to ensure the safety and comfort of pilgrims.

Last year, 12 Pakistanis died during Mashair days, while this year, a total of 35 deaths have been reported, including nine Pakistanis. Multiple Saudi agencies and departments work together in Mashair to prevent casualties. Once complaints regarding food, water, toilets, and space in Mashair are compiled, they will be raised with the Saudi authorities for resolution.

It is crucial for the Pakistan Hajj Mission to actively monitor and address any issues faced by pilgrims during the Mashair days. By coordinating with various agencies and service providers, the mission aims to ensure the safety and well-being of all pilgrims. Despite challenges, efforts are being made to improve services and prevent casualties, highlighting the commitment to enhancing the Hajj experience for all pilgrims.
