The rain spell, which commenced on April 12, has wreaked havoc across the region, leaving many families displaced and in dire need of assistance. In response to the crisis, the PDMA has taken swift action by releasing Rs 110 million for the affected populace. Additionally, relief supplies have been dispatched to various district administrations to support those impacted by the calamity.
