Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif strengthens ties with UAE President

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif recently reached out to UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan via a phone call to convey his warm Eid ul Adha greetings. During the conversation, both leaders exchanged well wishes for the progress and prosperity of their respective nations. The Prime Minister expressed gratitude for the UAE's consistent support and reaffirmed Pakistan's steadfast backing for the UAE.

Reflecting on his successful visit to the UAE in May 2024, Prime Minister Shehbaz highlighted Pakistan's strong commitment to enhancing bilateral relations with the UAE, aiming to establish a sustainable strategic partnership focused on trade and investment. Emphasizing the importance of regular high-level dialogues, the Prime Minister extended a cordial invitation to the UAE President to visit Pakistan, which was promptly accepted.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed expressed his willingness to undertake an official visit to Pakistan in the near future, emphasizing the shared goal of strengthening the close ties between the two countries. Both leaders agreed to maintain frequent communication to further solidify the fraternal relations between Pakistan and the UAE.

Aside from his conversation with the UAE President, Prime Minister Shehbaz also reached out to the leaders of Qatar, Kuwait, Turkey, and Tajikistan to extend Eid ul Adha greetings, demonstrating Pakistan's dedication to nurturing friendly relations with its regional partners.
