PTI Chairman Gohar Ali Khan dismisses rumors of a secret deal for Imran Khan's release, emphasizing legal fairness and transparency in the party's strategic plans at Adiala Jail.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan has refuted rumors of a secret deal surrounding the potential release of former prime minister and PTI founder Imran Khan. Speaking to the press following a meeting with Imran Khan at Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi, Gohar expressed optimism about Imran Khan's possible release in April, placing his trust in the judiciary to uphold fairness.

Accompanied by Sher Afzal Marwat and other PTI leaders, Gohar emphasized the perceived weaknesses in the cases against Imran Khan. He disclosed that Imran Khan had assigned him and Omar Ayub Khan the responsibility of organizing the party in Punjab, while Marwat was tasked with leading rallies in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.

The PTI chairman criticized the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), accusing it of overturning their candidates' victories in the recent general elections. Marwat expressed frustration over the presence of a glass partition during their meeting with Khan, which hindered their communication. He also pointed out surveillance equipment in the jail, suggesting that their discussions were being recorded.

Gohar reiterated his lack of internal conflicts within the party to Imran Khan. Both PTI leaders condemned the Bahawalnagar incident during their conversation with Khan, echoing Imran Khan's call for uniform application of the law across Pakistan. They stressed the nation's inability to sustain varying legal standards.

The PTI leadership's meeting at Adiala Jail shed light on their strategic plans and concerns regarding Imran Khan's potential release. Gohar Ali Khan's dismissal of any hidden agreements and his emphasis on legal fairness underscore the party's commitment to transparency and justice.
