In April, Punjab Highway Patrol demonstrated exceptional efficiency in ensuring public safety, upholding the law, and assisting those in need. Their proactive enforcement actions significantly contributed to enhancing road safety, combating crime, and safeguarding citizens' lives and properties.

In the month of April, Punjab Highway Patrol (PHP) demonstrated remarkable efficiency in ensuring public safety and upholding the law on the highways. Through the e-Police Post app, PHP checked a staggering 1.16 million individuals, leading to the apprehension of 87 proclaimed offenders, including 17 category 'A' and 25 category 'B' offenders. Additionally, PHP inspected 1.8 million vehicles, resulting in the recovery of 39 stolen vehicles, issuance of Rs 12819 e-challans for traffic violations, and the crackdown on vehicles using gas cylinders and overloaded vehicles.

Moreover, PHP's proactive measures extended to issuing 240 driving licenses, assisting 3228 stranded passengers, removing 27 encroachments, reuniting 13 missing children with their families, and providing first aid to 159 accident victims. The crackdown on illegal weapons yielded the recovery of six Kalashnikovs, 16 rifles, and 61 pistols, while significant quantities of alcohol, charas, opium, and poppy were seized from drug dealers.

Superintendent Akhtar Joyia of Punjab Highway Police Sargodha region underscored the commitment to safeguarding citizens' lives and properties, emphasizing selfless service as PHP's guiding principle.
