Rawalpindi district police have implemented stringent security measures to ensure the safety of all attending the Pak-NZ T-20 matches. Over 5000 officers are actively engaged in security duties, with a focus on continuous search operations and comprehensive traffic arrangements.

Rawalpindi district police have implemented stringent security measures to ensure the safety and security of all individuals attending the Pak-NZ T-20 matches. Under the guidance of City Police Officer, Rawalpindi, the police force has worked diligently to create a foolproof security plan for the matches taking place in Rawalpindi.

Inspector General Police, Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, has overseen the completion of comprehensive security and traffic arrangements for the matches. With a focus on maintaining a peaceful and secure environment, the police force is dedicated to providing full security to players, match officials, and fans.

Coordination has been established with various stakeholders, including the Pakistan Cricket Board, district administration, and security agencies. Over 5000 officers and officials are actively engaged in security duties to ensure a safe experience for everyone involved.

Special emphasis has been placed on continuous search, sweep, combing, and intelligence-based operations in the vicinity of the hotel, route, and stadium to guarantee foolproof security. Surveillance of key areas is being conducted using Safe Cities Authority cameras, with the deployment of lady police officers for the security and screening of female cricket fans.

Additionally, a traffic plan has been put into action to facilitate the smooth flow of traffic and provide adequate parking arrangements. A team of 360 traffic wardens and officers is on duty to manage traffic effectively, while specialized units such as the Dolphin Squad, Police Response Unit, and Elite Force are conducting patrols around the stadium.

Entrance and exit points of the stadium are being closely monitored, with staff instructed to interact courteously with citizens. The collective efforts of the Rawalpindi district police aim to ensure a secure and enjoyable environment for all attendees of the T-20 matches.
