Rawalpindi Police Arrest 7 for Illegal Arms Possession

In a recent operation conducted by the police in Rawalpindi, seven individuals were apprehended for being in possession of illegal arms. The recovered items included firearms, ammunition, and a dagger. This incident highlights the ongoing efforts of law enforcement to maintain public safety and combat illegal activities.

Three suspects, identified as Waheed Shah, Abdullah, and Farooq, were detained by Wah Cantt police. They were found with three pistols of 30 bore. Shahban was apprehended by Mandra police with one pistol of 30 bore, while Latif was arrested by Kahuta police with another pistol of the same caliber.

Furthermore, Dhamyal police discovered a dagger in the possession of Qahir Ali, and a knife was recovered from Waqqas. Each accused individual has had separate cases registered against them, and investigations are currently underway to gather more information.

The Senior Superintendent of Police Operations commended the police teams for their swift actions and stressed that strict measures will be taken against anyone found carrying illegal weapons. He reiterated the police's commitment to protecting the lives and properties of the citizens.
