Rawalpindi's NA-53 constituency is gearing up for a major facelift with a substantial budget allocation of Rs5.28 billion approved for crucial road construction and repair projects. This development initiative aims to enhance the overall infrastructure and connectivity in the region, benefiting both residents and commuters.

The allocated budget includes Rs2 billion for the Kutcherry remodelling project, Rs1.5 billion for the construction of the Adiala Road Flyover, and Rs20 crore earmarked for the completion of the Mahota-Mohra Dam. These projects are set to address key transportation challenges and improve the quality of life for the local population.

Specifically, the road from Khawaja Corporation to Gorakhpur will undergo construction and widening at a cost of Rs2 billion, while a flyover at Khawaja Corporation, with a budget of Rs1.5 billion, will be built to alleviate traffic congestion in the area. These developments will have a positive impact on the communities of Chontra, Rawat, Dhamman, Kaliyal, Dhamial, Adiala, and Gorakhpur.

Additional projects in the pipeline include the construction of roads such as Chakri Adda to Haryanwala via Bilawal Adda (Rs35 crore), Chakri-Dhadambar road (Rs6.2 million), Harka-Basali Road (Rs10.35 crore), Kararr Road (Rs5.5 crore), and the road connecting Chakri Road with Adiala areas through Jarar camp-Kachi Jorian (Rs21 crore).

Looking ahead, the upcoming financial year will witness the completion of projects like the Jorian-Chakri Road (Rs27 crore), Moorat Road from Main Chakri Road (Rs5 crore), and Chuck Beley Bypass (Rs4.84 crore). Efforts will be made to secure additional funding to ensure the timely execution of these vital infrastructure undertakings.
