Rescue 1122 aids injured teachers in Nathiagali van accident

On April 25, 2024, a distressing incident occurred near Barmi Gali in Nathiagali, where a Toyota Hiace van carrying female school teachers overturned, resulting in injuries to 15 teachers. Fortunately, no fatalities were reported in this unfortunate event.

The incident took place as the van, transporting morning shift teachers from Abbottabad to Nathiagali, lost control near Barmi Gali and overturned. Upon receiving the distress call, Rescue 1122 promptly responded, providing immediate medical aid to the injured teachers before transferring them to NathiaGali Hospital. Some of the teachers, due to the severity of their injuries, were later moved to Ayub Medical Complex for further treatment.

This incident serves as a stark reminder of the importance of road safety and the need for vigilance while traveling, especially in hilly terrains. It also highlights the swift response and crucial role played by emergency services in ensuring the well-being of those affected by such accidents.
