Rescue-1122 in Sargodha: Eid Heroes Saving Lives

During the recent Eid holidays, Rescue-1122 in Sargodha played a crucial role in providing emergency assistance to a total of 885 individuals who were affected by various accidents and incidents. District Emergency Officer Mazhar Hussain Shah shared that the department received a significant number of calls, totaling 4615, with 960 of them being emergency calls.

The calls received covered a range of situations, including 173 related to road accidents, 25 to quarrels, 648 to medical issues, 18 to fire incidents, and 68 miscellaneous calls. This highlights the diverse challenges that the Rescue-1122 team had to address during the festive period.

For their Eidul Azha duty, over 550 dedicated rescuers were deployed, each equipped with motorcycles to swiftly respond to emergencies. In addition to this, 40 patients from rural centers were safely transferred to the DHQ hospital for further medical attention, showcasing the comprehensive support provided by the rescue team.
