In a bid to enhance public safety and maintain peace in the area, Tank police have initiated a crackdown on motorcycles without number plates and vehicles with tinted glasses. The operation, led by Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Rural Sharifullah Khan Kundi and DSP Headquarters, in collaboration with Traffic Wardens’ incharge Saaduddin, involved setting up special traffic checkpoints at key locations including Shaheed Hasan Khan police post, Shaheed Samiullah post, Shaheed Latif post, Station Road, and Pirkecha Road.

During the operation, several motorcycles without number plates and vehicles with tinted glasses were intercepted, and legal action was promptly taken against the offenders. This crackdown comes as part of the directives issued by District Police Officer (DPO) Abdul Salam Khalid, emphasizing the need for heightened vigilance and swift responses to any security threats.

The enforcement drive against vehicles lacking proper identification and those with obscured windows is a proactive measure aimed at curbing potential criminal activities and ensuring the safety of residents in Dera Ismail Khan.
