Youth Organization Advocates Unity Through Boycott Slogans

Recently, multiple slogans advocating a boycott of the Lok Sabha elections were discovered painted on walls throughout the Delhi University campus. The Delhi Police have taken notice of these slogans and have launched two FIRs in response to this incident.

The slogans, notably featuring phrases like 'Ek hi raasta Naxalbari', have been linked to the Bhagat Singh Chhatra Ekta Manch (BSCEM), a youth organization that has claimed responsibility for the messages by sharing images on their Instagram page. The group stressed the importance of unity in the face of what they perceive as a 'fascist offensive', drawing inspiration from Mao Zedong's principles of a united front in Marxism.

BSCEM underscored the critical role of unity in achieving a range of objectives, from democratic reforms to revolutionary pursuits. They highlighted the increasing dissent against governmental policies in various regions of the country, such as Kashmir, Manipur, Assam, and Nagaland.

Upon the discovery of the slogans during their routine patrol, the police swiftly responded by filing two FIRs under the Defacement Act. The investigation into this matter is currently ongoing, as confirmed by DDCP (North), Manoj Kumar Meena.

The appearance of these boycott slogans at Delhi University has raised concerns and prompted police action. The messages, attributed to the BSCEM, advocate for unity and express dissent against government policies.
