Zahid Chanzeb Takes Action Amid Heavy Rains

Heavy rains in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have caused significant damages, prompting Zahid Chanzeb, Advisor to Chief Minister on Tourism, Culture, and Archeology, to take action. Expressing concern, Chanzeb has advised local authorities to assist travelers in tourist areas and hill stations, emphasizing the importance of following SOPs.

During a visit to the affected Kaghan Valley and Mansehra District, Chanzeb assessed the impact of the rains alongside local administration and tourism authorities. He reviewed infrastructure and accommodations, issuing a warning against visiting Kaghan Valley and mountainous highways due to dangerous conditions.

Chanzeb highlighted the unpredictable nature of heavy rains in mountainous regions, urging tourists to prioritize safety by checking weather forecasts before embarking on trips. He directed the tourism authority to provide comprehensive guidance to travelers and ensure their comfort and safety during journeys.
