Zahid Chanzeb emphasizes tourism development in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

The Advisor to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Tourism, Culture, and Archaeology, Zahid Chanzeb, stressed the importance of expediting tourism projects and activities to meet the set goals for tourism development in the province. During a meeting at Pakhtunkhwa House Islamabad, attended by the Kaghan Development Authority (KDA) and delegations from Mansehra, Chanzeb emphasized the need for tangible results rather than empty promises.

Chanzeb made it clear that the performance of departments under the PTI-led KP Government will be evaluated based on target achievements. He warned that underperforming departments will face reductions in funds and staff, while those excelling will receive increased support and funding.

At the KDA meeting, Director General Mohammad Shabbir provided updates on the progress of managing hotels from Mansehra to Lake Saif Al-Muluk, enhancing tourist facilities along highways, and other tourism-related initiatives. Various KDA sections presented ongoing and new projects aimed at boosting tourism in the region, showcasing their contributions to the sector's growth.
