Adviser Zahid Chanzeb Inspects Nishtar Hall Renovation

Recently, Zahid Chanzeb, the Adviser to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Tourism, Culture, and Archeology, visited Nishtar Hall in Peshawar to inspect the ongoing renovation project. The project, with a budget of ten billion rupees, aims to revitalize the cultural center. However, Chanzeb expressed concerns about the quality of the new carpeting, washroom fittings, and wall paneling.

Accompanied by officials like Chief Planning Officer Zainullah and Event Manager Ms. Haseena, Chanzeb stressed the importance of meeting project specifications and using high-quality materials. He made it clear that any substandard work would need to be redone at the contractor's expense.

During his inspection, Chanzeb scrutinized various areas of Nishtar Hall, including the art gallery, washrooms, main hall, and parking lot. While he acknowledged some improvements, he identified several flaws that required immediate rectification.

Chanzeb emphasized the need to enhance the department's image and secure additional resources for cultural activities. He highlighted the importance of a comprehensive plan to ensure the durability and sustainability of the renovation project, focusing on public perception.

Furthermore, Chanzeb highlighted the necessity of innovative parking solutions due to limited space at Nishtar Hall. He called for an increase in parking capacity and modernization of reception and security systems to align with IT requirements.
