Punjab Minister Sohail Shaukat Butt leads a meeting to discuss social welfare initiatives, emphasizing empowerment of women and support for marginalized communities.

The Punjab Minister for Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Mal, Sohail Shaukat Butt, conducted a meeting in Lahore to assess the department's operations. The meeting was attended by Director General Amina Munir, divisional directors, and other relevant officers. Discussions during the meeting involved a thorough exchange of ideas between Minister Sohail Shaukat Butt and the divisional directors, focusing on crucial issues related to departmental affairs.

Minister Sohail Shaukat Butt attentively listened to the concerns raised by divisional directors from various regions, including Rawalpindi, Multan, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Bahawalpur, Muzaffargarh, and Sahiwal. He promptly instructed Director General Amina Munir to take immediate actions to address these issues.

In his address, Minister Sohail Shaukat Butt reaffirmed the Punjab government's dedication, under the leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, to empower economically disadvantaged women. He emphasized the importance of skilled and financially independent women in driving economic growth and highlighted the ongoing efforts to improve facilities at Model Children Homes, Kashana, and Chaman, which cater to orphans and vulnerable children.

Furthermore, the minister confirmed the government's commitment to establishing shelter homes and modern residential facilities in all divisions and districts to provide comprehensive support to those in need.

The meeting led by Punjab Minister Sohail Shaukat Butt underscored the government's focus on enhancing social welfare initiatives to uplift marginalized communities, particularly women and children.
